    Default complaint and verified complaint

    Hi,

I never studied at law school. I would like to know difference between
complaint and verified complaint. I also like to know what kind of
action requires a verified complaint to commence.

    Thank you very much.

    Default complaint and verified complaint

A verified complaint is one where its truthfulness is sworn to
under oath. Here in Maryland, a divorce complaint must be
    verified.

It isn't meant to be legal advice and you shouldn't treat it as
such. If you want legal advice, speak with a local lawyer
familiar with your state's laws who can review *all* of the facts
and the law applicable to your situation.
