Default Terminated - having issues with it.

I am an RN in a NC hospital who was fired, along with another RN, for "providing false employ-related documents." At my facility, we nurses have to get a TB skin test in employee health and then have to read the results 48-72 hours later, on each other. My friend, "Ann" and I went to get our TB skin test (an injection of under the skin) on a Friday, came back and wrote the date they were to be read (4-5-06 on Monday) mainly as a reminder, as we are busy working moms, on the form and signed each others. We DID NOT CIRCLE on the form whether the tests were negative or positive, as we had to wait 48-72 hours to read. But my friend took copies of them for ourselves, because the manager always may want a copy of something at a later date and we wanted proof we at least went to get the injections, or we could not return to work after a certain date. My manager found these copies of TB skin testing documents in Ann's locker (which she went pilfering through) on Monday 4-5-06, and started ranting and raving in front of other employees that it was falsification of documentation, that we dated the tests and signed them. Okay, we did do that but only as a reminder, and those were copies of the originals she found, that we never took to employee health! We didn't circle negative or positive results of the test, on the copies. Ann goes in to work with the ORIGINALS, which we checked on Monday at each other's homes (we are allowed to do this) with the negative results circled. Before she can give the originals to employee health, she is called into the manager's office and fired for providing false documentation of employee related information. The next day I am fired for the same thing! We never turned in the originals, and the copies she found were basically incomplete! We NEVER wrote in the results, because we had to wait 48-72 hours later to read them. If I wanted to lie about a TB test, we would have dated them, circled the results and taken them to employee health right then and there! Not to mention, if I have TB, I would want to be treated! I think there is a personality thing behind all this, but I don't want to get into that, just stating the facts here!

I know I can be fired for anything, however, my questions is, can my manager get called to the carpet or do I have ANY kind of case for A) Pilfering through Ann's personal locker without prior knowledge, or B) taking those copies down to employee health, that were not even the originals and stating those were our completed forms, when we NEVER TURNED IN OUR ORIGINAL completed forms (which we both still have)? or C) Get in trouble for claiming we falsified forms when we did not, and when we did not "provide" them to anyone or employee health. It seems to me SHE is the one falsfying something, or making false claims. We are very distraught! Please advise! Thank you! I have had no replies now as of 4/21/06.....is it that confusing to you too? By the way....if another person states I can be fired for any reason in NC...BLAH BLAH BLAH...I KNOW THAT!!!! What about saying I falsified a document that was never turned in?? ISN'T THAT A CROCK????????????????????????
