Default Vacation Lost when company sold!

I started a salaried job in New Hampshire at Papa Johns in June. I was told that after 6 months of work i would recieve a paid weeks vacation. HOWEVER, 1 week shy of my 6 month aniversary, the owners of our franchise sold the store to a new franchise. I was told that since i didnt work for 6 months with them, (1 week shy), i was out of luck and had to start over accumulating vacation pay based on the policy of the new company. Im pissed and feel cheated, but is there nothing to do?

And you've posted a New Hampshire question in the GA forum because...?

No, there is nothing you can do.
