The company I work with is located in NH. I am an independent contractor in the field of medical transcription. I have been working for a company for a couple of years, and beginning last February she started screwing with our paychecks/payperiods. I was due to get paid for an invoice that I sent for work completed 02/19/06 through 03/04/2006 and I have not yet received this pay. I would like to know if there is any recourse that I have on this person. I have since terminated my work with her as this has been ongoing for over a year now and it is ruining my credit. |

Since you were an Independent Contractor and not an employee, your only recourse would be to file suit in court for the monies you are owed.
