Default Overtime at Ag dealership

The Ag dealership I work at has always stated that they do not have to pay overtime due to the fact that they are agriculture related business. I frequently work over 40 hours a week and never have received overtime. Most of the equipment I work on is under 40 horsepower outdoor power equipment. Can anyone tell me more about this or were to look for more information.

You are not doing agricultural work. You are a mechanic. I would suggest contacting your state Dept. of Labor. It is very likely the employer is in violation of overtime laws for your position and you could file a claim for unpaid overtime wages.
