I recently resigned from my company. Their corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN. If I request a copy of my employee files, can they deny that priviledge to me? Looking for TN state laws as to this question....they say that is company property and they do not have to allow me to see my records.....Is this true?
Thanks |

Yes, it is true. In Tennessee it is entirely up to the employer whether to allow you to view your personnel file or not.
