I am a server in Omaha NE. I recently had a kidney transplant. I was granted SSD. Being that I am on SSD I can only make a certain amount of money a month to remain eligible. I work two days a week at a restaurant. The restaurant for some reason after I have claimed my amount of tips, go an claim more. Which put me over the amount I need to stay under. I have spoke to the managers and the person in payroll ant she refuses to change it, or at least correct this problem from now on. I am a good server, and I know a person can make pretty good money, but I serve only on two days and my check stub say without the hourly rate ($2.15) that I make between $40-$20 a hour. What can I do? [/b] I don't understand why a company would claim so much for someone. Not even taking in account sometime tables are shared and 3% tip out that come out of the tips I do make. What Can and should I do?
