    Question custodial parent moving from new york

    what will i run into in trying to move across state lines with my children if i have custody? if there are any problems is it legal to offer him no support obligations for my freedom to move wherever i want

    If you are not on any type of public assistance it MIGHT be possible for you and ex to work out a deal and file for a modification and have the agreement signed by a judge.

    Does your court orders state anything about notification when moving? Usually you would have to get the ex's and court's okay to be able to move.
