My boyfriend works for a small company in Nj , an LLC. He as well as his fellow co-workers are to be at the warehouse at 5am and then everyone is dispursed to different job locations. Say for example a crew is to be in NYC by 8 am to start a job. That is when they all start getting paid not at the time they reported to the warehouse, 5am. Is this legal?

If they are required to report to the employers business (warehoue) and then are dispatched to the job location, they are to be paid from the time they get to the warehouse to the time they get to the job site (NYC in your example).

So how do I go about reporting this and to whom do I report it?

Your boyfriend (not you) files a claim with the NJ Dept. of Labor.
