Oh...no, I thought it meant <<< Mod: a member of a youth group in 1960s Britain remembered especially for their fashionable dress, motor scooters, and fights with motorcycle gangs (rockers). If I may paraphrase John Lennon when asked whether he was a mod or a rocker; you, Robin, are a mocker. J.
LOL

I try my best to be, perhaps it's that in my youth I would have loved a
Triumph Bonneville but could only afford a scooter.

A scooter was about all I could handle. The first (and last) time I got on a
larger bike (a Norton 750 IIRC) I damn near died. Up came the front fork and
off went the bike, with me hanging on for all I was worth. Fortunately, I did
it no damage. Haven't driven anything on two wheels in years, but I still have
my license in case spring bike fever ever catches me with my guard down.

In the medical world we call them "donorcycles."

There are two kinds of motorcycle riders, those who've had accidents and
those who are going to.

One of my better friends has a big BMW bike and wants me to try it out.
No thanks.

Yep. Hubby had two (one that required surgery) before he gave them up for
good. He's a slow learner but at least he was alive to learn the lesson!

I cringe now when I think of the times we went riding. I hope my daughters
are never that foolish.
