Question unemployment while on FMLA??
In Maryland, can you file and receive unemployment while on leave under the FMLA?

You can only receive unemployment benefits if you are ready, able and willing to work and are actively seeking work. It is unlikely that would be true if you were on FMLA or any other type of medical leave.
