I live in Missouri and have a question about laws regarding abcences.
I have had a pretty tough year with a very sick little boy so I have missed a lot of work due to his asthma. I have had a doctor's note almost every time he has been sick stating he has had to have breathing treatments but still am being put on probation for abcences. Is this legal according to the Missouri Labor Laws? |

Yes, unless your absences qualify as FMLA.
1. Does your employer have at least 50 employees at your job site or within 75 miles of your job site? 2. Have you worked for this employer at least one year? 3. In the last year, have you worked at least 1,250 hours? |
