Default iowa child support recovery

my wife i suppose to get $225 for her ex. she get $60. at one time he paid it all for a year. but before that he paid nothing. i went to jail for 6 months and they mkae me pay $50 i dont understand to this day why but whatever i paid it when i was released we just got a check back from them.but child support recovery has on two occasions taken over $200 from her ex then taken it away from her then just given her 60 dollars. when she called them about this thier reponse was it was placed on the wrong account. now her ex alos has a little boy by someone else. we dont have the money for an attorney and this is getting old does anyone know what we can do?

I'm sorry but you will have to explain a little better so I can understand your situation.

Also, are you referring to 2 different cases- one where your wife's ex pays support and the other where you pay support? Your post is confusing, and no one can assist you without knowing exactly what your situation is. If you are asking about 2 seperate cases, please state that.

basically iowa child support recovery is taking child support from my wifes ex hes also has another child he is paying support on. child support recovery on 2 seperate occasions has taken 220 and then took away from her. their explanation is they put it on the wrong account. this guy has paid no support for the first 3 years then did pay for 1 year and now child support recovery is claiming he is only paying 60. we have tried to take his income taxes but iowa wont do it. they wont do nothing to him to get him to pay the full amount.
example:i was in jail for 6 months and they made me pat 50 a month child support because i "moved out of the house". they tried to take my drivers licence when i was incarcerated because i wasnt paying and everything. why dont they do something about him or what can we do to get him to pay. like he is supposed to.we dont have the money to hire a attorney is there something else we can do.

And this has nothing to do with employment law.
