was writing about!" I am glad a provision is there in case of death of the mothers death, but I believe that at 18 all bets should be off all hands untied, and maybe anyone should be able to intiate contact long as (a age of consent like 18)
I am sure Aus is nice, but I hate red tape,,, it hides people n things, n is a annoyance, not to mention just adds to taxes! (send form here, there, everywhere, a death certificate how morbid, just adds to the gloom)

What red tape? Our records have been open from between 12 and 18 years
where both mother and adoptee can automatically obtain identifying
information. And that the point. Only the mother or adoptee can have
legal access to the others identifying information.
