Unhappy do i have to have my parent's permission to move out? i am 17 years old.. please help

i am a 17 year old girl. my birthday is november 26, 1988. i really need to get out of my mothers house. everyday is nothing but yelling and arguing. i do not get along with my mother or my 2 sisters. and my mom is back with her ex man. he always finds ways to get me and my mother fighting. i CANNOT stand him at all. i do poorly in school and im always getting grounded. the reason i do poorly in school is because im worried about other things. and i cannot concentrate. i do not want to go back home after school. i curently am seeing somebody. he is 19 years old and he lives with his father and attends a college. i haven't talked to him about moving in with him but if he agree's, do i have to have my parents permission to move out and be with him?

Yes, you do. You cannot move out without your parent's permission until you are 18.

If you have further questions, please post them on the Family law forum. This forum is for Labor and employment law questions only.
