MY HUSBAND AND I OWN A RESTAURANT, WE MORTGAGED OUR HOUSE FOR IT AND MADE A PROFIT, IF SOLD OF 600K. I DON'T WANT TO SELL IT, WE MAKE A GREAT LIVING, HOWEVER HE HAS HIRED A BROKER TO SELL IT. DO I HAVE ANY RIGHTS AS AN LLC MEMBER OF 3%? HE OWNS 97%. CAN I ASSUME THAT I WILL GET A CHECK FOR 3% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE(900k)? PLEASE HELP. THANKS, LISA

Please don't type in all caps. It is considered shouting on the Internet and makes your post very hard to read.
This all depends on the agreement. I recommend you get the advice of an attorney who has read the agreement in its entirety. But, congratulations for making the restaurant a success. It's one of the hardest industries to do that in. Good luck. |
