Arrow Escrow Account for truck driver

Ohio
I am a truck driver and have been for 6 years. My employer withdrew $1200 from my paycheck when I started to put in escrow for any wrecks that may incurr. I never signed anything authorizing them to deduct anything from my pay. They never told me they were going to do this until after I was hired. I have never recieved an escrow statement from them and they have never notified me that I have had funds taken out of the escrow account to cover damage to equipment. I have had no traffic accidents in the last 7 years and only 2 incidents involving damage. One to the product I was hauling. One to the actual equipment. The one to the equipment was $10,000 in damage but it is my contention was due to faulty equipment and insurance paid for it except for a $2500 deductible. It has been 9 months since that accident. I want to know if I quit am I legally entitled to my escrow account and is their anyway I can get these monies back.
