Default Severence Pay In PA?

I am an exempt salaried employee who was just terminated from my job with now warning. There were no verbal or written warnings given prior to this termination. I was told 1 hour before the end of the day that today will be my last. Is there compensation for such actions?
Bob

PS: Thank you in advance for your help

Since your subject was "severance pay", I will address that specifically. There is no law in any state which requires severance pay. Unless you have a specific employment contract which spells out the terms should you be terminated, either voluntarily or involuntarily, no additional pay is legally due you other than pay through your last day worked.

The only option you really have at this point is to file for unemployment benefits, which you should do immediately.
