Default Help please

We have a 3 strike policy at work. Well they never tell you when you have one strike let alone 3. How is it that they can terminate you when you had no clue that you had 1 strike let alone 3?

Because there is no law against it. Most employers who have such policies also state that they can override it if the situation is of such consequence that they feel it necessary.
