Question people on ssi should pay child support

I live in Pa. As far as I know, nobody that is on SSI shouldn't have to pay child support. That shouldn't be right though! My son is two years old and all I get is welfare. I myself get SSI, and until I pay the bills, and make sure my son has what he needs in a month ,theres only maybe $5.00 left at the end of the month. I,m sorry but $174.00 dollars a month from welfare just doesn't cut it! People on SSD have money taken from them for there child support. So why can't it be the same for people on SSI.

Try the Family Law Forum. However, if that's the law, that's the law, and until it's changed, the fact that it may or may not be unfair is irrelevant.
