Default Pay for being sent home?

I reported to work as scheduled, for my hourly cashier position. 3-8 shift. I asked my supervisor if it was OK to leave 2 hours early because I had a bad headache. I fell and hit my head 2 days earlier and had a doctors note stating that I take several days rest. I needed the money, that's why I reported as scheduled. My manager said that they didn't want me working if I had a DR. note stating such. Can they send me home? Do they have to pay me a minimum number of hours for reporting? I did want to work, just asked to leave 2 hours early.

PA does not have any reporting time pay laws, and even if they did, they would not apply in this situation. Sorry.

Yes, they can send you home without pay, doctor's note or no.
