My girlfriend is currently employed at a cellular phone store, and they are paid hourly as well as commission. She has been underpaid and sometimes not paid at all to compensate for her commission. What can she do as far as getting paid, and saving her job?

In Arizona, as in most states, the state Dept. of Labor is charged with making sure employers comply with the law regarding minimum wage. If her hourly rate is at least minimum wage, it is very doubtful the state DOL could (would) puruse this on her behalf.
Has she talked to her manager? Payroll? HR? What do they say? |
