Default when must a Tn. employer notify you of a writeup

hello,
i recently received my annual evaluation. i had a .5 ding because of a 5 min. late in 7/26/05. it is now 11/4/05 and this is the first time i was aware of a writeup.

i should add i had a 3 year 100% record going at the time and have only had 2 write ups including this 1 in 5 years.

shouldnt i have been told of the writeup sooner.
4mos after the fact is a little hard to defend against
tia,
ski

SHOULD they have told you about it sooner? Sure.

Did they break any laws by not telling you about it? No, they didn't.
