My former employer (Maryland) will not give my last paycheck because they say I owe them a pager. I never signed for the pager when I received it and I gave the pager back on the day I quit. I put the pager on the counter of the front desk. Am I SOL?

Not at all. File a complaint for unpaid wages with the state DOL.
