Default Texas Termination and paycheck concern!!

I was terminated from my job on the 16 of October, after working there for a year. The last check I have received from them had been the week before this occurence. I should have receieved my final check tihs past Friday (October 28) and did not... I was told by the Store Manager that they would mail the final check to me. Still without a check today, I called headquarters and found out that my termination had been processed, but they had not sent in the hours I worked the week of my termination. I called one of my managers back, and was told they had "entered in my hours and had no idea what happened.." After talking to the Store Manager and requesting that he call headquarters to get this all settled, he was not at all concerned. Now, to my way of thinking, this has to be against some law. I believe I have a right to acquire my last paycheck within a timely manner, and would like any information or thoughts anyone has. What courses of action should I pursue?

File a claim with the Texas Workforce Commission.
