I had 9 days of vacation time that I did not use. Now that I no longer work there, am I entitled to receive compensation for the 9 days?

Tennessee does not require that the employer pay out accrued vacation at termination, only that the company follow it's own policy regarding this. If the company policy provides for it, and you did not get it, then contact the state Dept. of Labor.
