Default AZ didn't get paycheck after termination for 25 days

I was fired on Sept 27th, and didnt receive my final paycheck until October 19th. Is there any course of legal action I can take against my former employer? They also havent sent my any COBRA information yet. They also got into my bank account and took out $710.00.

You can contact the state DOL and file a complaint about the late paycheck, but since you've been paid already it's going to be a low priority.

Your employer has up to 44 days to provide you with COBRA information; they are still well within the legal timeframes.

How did your employer get into your bank account and how do you know they did?

Default Do I have a case?

My employer (deleted) had scheduled me to work on a job that was four hours out of town where I was expected to work through the night. 6 am on Thursday until 4:45am on Friday morning, with a four and a half hour ride home. (Total 27hrs over 2 days). Hotel was provided and down time was not included in my estimate of work hours. They have refused to pay me time and a half. They are compensating me by forcing me to take time off on the remainder of my work week, so that I do not exceed 40 hours.

rbnell, please start your own thread. Your question is completely unrelated to this very old thread.

And when you do so, please do not name your employer. Not too very long ago we had a poster who was legally fired because of what he stated about his employer on this site; we don't want you to have any similar repercussions.
