Default independent contractor harrased at work

Hi I'm a independent contractor and for 5+ years I have followed the contract to the letter, bring in orders, customer satification ++
do my job and now this new manager came in won't renew my contract even tho i'm not in violation of my contract says it's my attidtude but said the same thing to 8 other ladies, he harrasses us daily, we try to keep away from him but he comes to us and and makes us go into his office to be scolded like kids, the staff makes up stories and tells other people our personal business.
The staff does little things to make our jobs misserable. The mangager follows us in his car, and won't renew our for a one year contact.
None of this is sexual in nature but he's haraseing the hell out of us that were in fear of our jobs, were in tears and living on tums, we can't sleep and were just wrecks and never had any of this problems till this new guy came and upper managment won't listen, werer just all liars.
what can I do?? can a lawyers help??

Nothing to my knowledge. An uncomfortable working environment does not rise to the level of legal harrassment. If they don't want to renew your contract, that is their perogative.
