what to do
My step daughter (Sheila) is the assist Head Housekeeper at a Marriot Hotel in Avon, Ohio. The Head Housekeeper (Barb) makes fun of her because of her size, she is a little on the big side, In front of the other employees Barb has said that my step daughter is too big to fit in the door. Sometimes the employees bring food to share with others for lunch while Sheila has been told that she is to bring enough food for all the employees. Sheila has been wrote up for taking to long to check the rooms after the others clean them only because she was cleaning 19 rooms of her own, management didn't want to listen to that. The Manager (Kathy) doesn't listen to the eployees when they have problems and when the employees tried to go to Corp. with the problem Kathy heard and told them that they would be in the unemployment the next day if they did. When a new hired employee was promoted from housekeeping to front desk Sheila showed them that the Corp. employee handbook said that no employee could be promoted until after being employed 6 monthes she was told that it was none of her business and that the handbook was not the rules that the owner Mike could do anything he wanted because he was "GOD".
I have emailed Marriot a couple times and so has my Wife but they have done nothing.
