Where may I find labor laws governing contract workers? We have contract couriers that work in our lab. These workers are provided by the contract courier service and all charges are invoiced to us through the owners of the contract courier service and they pay the workers. Is there a maximum length of time that the contract couriers may work for us or they would be considered employees? We may be forced to loose these workers and they and us do not want to see them go. Looking for laws that cover their work.
