We recently discovered an employee has been taking lunch breaks, running errands, etc without clocking out on his time card. We have tracked this for two weeks to confirm. In looking back, he has been doing this for a long period of time(over a year). Does the employer have any recourse to recovering any $ paid to him for hours he did not work? We only have hard documentation for the past two weeks. We are located in NC.

I responded to your message in the other post.
I know you're new and I'm not yelling at you, just explaining. But the same people respond to all the employment law forums, so multiple posts are not necessary. I'm going to ask you to, in future, pick one forum to post your question in so that all the answers appear in the same place. |
