I am a resident of Ohio. I am on a yearly lease that starts on Sept 1 and ends Aug 31. The lease requires a one month notice for premature termination. Now, my landlord wants me to sign the lease for next year, Sep 2005 to Aug 2006 by June 30, 2005. Can somebody tell me if the landlord is justified in asking me to sign the lease this early.

If you both know that you want to stay in the unit, just a landlord getting things over with early.
