Default When is 1st rent really due

I signed the lease for my apt on 8/20/05. That is when I got my keys and gave him the total amount of rent & security. So do I have to pay the full amount of rent on 9/1/05 of $780.00 or is it due 9/20 then there after on the first.

everyone is correct- look at the lease; if in doubt, call the landlord or property management company

Cool Prorated Rent

When you moved in on 8/20 you pay for the full amount of the rent. In the second month your rent is due on the 1st, but it should have been prorated from 8/20 to 8/30, which means on 9/1 you only pay for 10 days of rent. On 10/1 you revert back to the regular rent amount.
