I'm a consultant on a salary base job. Up til recently, I have always work a 5 day week for around 40 to 44 hrs a week. But I have just been asked to work 7 days for the next several week. Is that legal in VA? There is no OT and no Bonus involved, just the extra hours.

According to the VA DOL website, once an employee has reached his 16th birthday there is no limit to the number of hours an employee can be asked to work.
