Default Don't know what to do in IL

On the 4th of this month I recieve notice saying that my landlord would not be renewing my lease and that I needed to vacate the premisises by 8-27-05. There was no reason given for the non-renewal . I don't really want to stay here as i feel the reason for the removal was racial (the land lord did not realize tthat my child was black until around December and then began telling him things like that he could not sit on the grass on the property because it looked bad) the thing is I need more than 2 weeks to find a new aprtment. Doesn't non-renewal require 60 day notice?

Look at your lease. Most require at least 30 days notice, but should spell out the amount of time you are to be notified for termination of your lease.
