Deeded right of way

The owner of the vacant lot behind us wants to use the ingress/egress that runs through the middle of our property instead of the deeded right of way that borders our proterty to access his land. Can this be done?

If you want to let them use the ingress/egress, you can. But I would be careful because if they use it long enough, they could claim that it becomes permanently used and a right via adverse posession or an easement by prescription. So it may be wise to make them use the access that they have already.
