Default N-400 times in North Carolina

I live in Raleigh, NC, and belong to TSC.
My priority date is December 2002.
    Fingerprinted on May 2003.
Haven't heard anything back since then.
Status line says that waiting time for this type is between 750-999 days!!
Does anyone have any experiences in NC how long does it take to get
citizenship and who can I call for the up to date status info.

    You can contact congressman or
Senators to find out whether the
    application has been forwarded from
TSC to the local BCIS office.
If the application is in the local office,
visit the office and request for status
    infrmation.
If the application is in BCIS, then
wait until the application is forwarded to
    the loxal office.

    Hope this helps.

My timeline is identical to yours. I got an interview letter for 30th
    OCT. in Charlotte last week.

I am Italian native. I received my citizenship back in 2003.
It took me about a year to receive a confirmation to when to have the test in Charlotte. After I passed the test it took me another year to be sworn in.
It was awsome and I am ver proud to be an America.

Good luck and wish the best.

PS:The suggestion given about contactin your Senator is good. I did that also and I believe it did speed things up a little.
