Can you prove how far it is to the point where he clocked you? Can you prove where he clocked you? Also, the law on radar is quite ignorant of physics. If a larger vehicle is coming up behind you, and you are not speeding, the radar can and does read the speed of the faster, larger vehicle. Cops like to think they can point and aim accurately, but based on how poorly they do in shoot outs, we all know this is not the case.

a weapon about to be used on him....

All it takes is some of the waves to be reflected off the faster vehicle, which will happen unless the gun is so close to your car that the officer gets run over, and it will automatically read the higher, incorrect speed. However, the courts have ruled time and time again that physics do not apply in a courtroom.

You sound like you enjoy antagonizing people.

Take a minute to learn something - the fact is that most cops can not
hit someone 7 feet away while engaged in a shooting match. Most, by
the way, is more than 99%.

So, while I understand you being rude and ignorant if you are a cop, I
would expect anyone to first learn something before spouting off at
the mouth.

I speak from experiance slick. I've been on the skinny end of firearms and
no amount of training will prepare you for how you react to someone trying
to kill YOU.

See above....I learned by doing, not reading about it.

All I can say is that I hope those lowlife scumball f***ers who
pulled guns on you ended up doing serious BIG time in pokeysville.
That's where they belong, to ROT.

(Of course, all that's assuming they pulled the gun first...)

Semtiment appreciated.... FWIW though, I had a life before this uniform. 12
years US Army in the (not-so) Light Infantry.

The shooting incidents were in that arena not this one, but the theory still
holds.

And the bad guys never made it to pokeysville.....unless of course that's
the name of that wonderfull little patch of ground......

So, let me see if I understand you. You agree with me.

Anyone who attempts to kill another person, unless they are exercising
their right to self defense or others, should be punished very
severely. Whether the person they were attempting to kill was a cop
or not is irrelevant.

I vote for either life in prison with no possibility of parole, or
the death sentence for murders. Not that I'm an advocate of capital
punishment mind you, and there is a very strong case to be made
against it, but the one thing that's for sure is that releasing cold
blooded violent convicts early is tantamount to a triple injustice
(for the perp by virtue of lack of punishment, for the victims of
his crime of which he was convicted and for the victims of any
future crimes).

Quite true. But it hasta be said that cops in the line of duty are
probably statistically more likely than the "average" to have one or
more attempts made against their lives. That is the risk they take.

Yes, and that does suck. I am just sick of hearing "anybody who would
shoot a cop" bull****. Hell, if I was a criminal and was armed, and I
saw a cop drawing his weapon on me, what am I supported to do - just
sit back and die? Please don't take this as if I support criminals
doing this. I only am pointing out their mind set. To believe that
they are more - or less - dangerous because they shoot a cop is
ignorant. From what I have seen, most people who shoot cops do so
because in their warped mind they are defending themselves. That does
not imply that they would shoot civilians, as most civilians know
enough to get out of their way.

Default Lmao

I have been around the net for a while and almost never get sucked into responding to Internet nonsense. But I could not help myself on this one. I don't think I will come back so no need to respond.

DTJ how in the world anyone would respond to you never the less a police officer is beyond me. You caught my attention with your this ignorant statement.

( You sound like you enjoy antagonizing people.

Take a minute to learn something - the fact is that most cops can not
hit someone 7 feet away while engaged in a shooting match. Most, by

Your not really that stupid are you ?? Well I guess you are. I am a certified firearms instructor. Where do you get your info from your ***. I was about to enlighten you on close contact firearm confrontations. But that was before I took a quick look at your posts. I only read one and it said something to the effect of you telling a police officer to look out for safety and not what speed the person is traveling. My god you are clueless. You need to stop talking out of your *** and maybe do something as simple as a net search before you open your mouth. Most 12 and 13 year old kids do it why can't you. You have some serious personnel issues my friend. I am also trained in IPC and profiling. I would assume your are very unhappy, approximately middle class, absolutely Caucasian, and my own personal guess overweight and probably bald or maybe just short and pissed at the world. Now I am not trying to take out anything on you this is the just the net. But why don't you try proving me wrong and posting your photo and maybe a little about yourself. I am thinking you won't.

Anyone that would respond to a moron like this needs to think twice. Now you might say this guy is an *******. Not the case I was blown away by the amount of typing you do with absolutely 0 knowledge of a subject. I will not even entertain the thought of correcting you. Stop hiding behind you keyboard like a little b***** let these people see who and what you are. Lmao@ the chances of you doing that. Don't waste your time replying or trying to contact me because I already gave you this one wake up call for free. Next I will have to charge you what a shrink would. Damn if I had a dollar for every loser that hides behind their computer complaining about everything in the world they don't like I would be rich. Go and do something about it stop complaining. 7 Feet away your are too much man. Turn on the discovery channel if you won't do a net search you f+++ing moron. If I was a cop where you lived and saw you popping this nonsense off hell yeah I would see that you got f**cked so to speak. Your talking out of your *** man. Yes we know there are good cops and bad cops so what join the world...... Most people who shoot cops what? Your are very uninformed my friend. Have you ever sat in on a superior court session? Been inside a maximum security ad seg unit. Didn't think so. Almost all firearm assaults on officers are an attempt to avoid jail. I am thinking even you knew that you probably just wanted to act stupid once more.

Oh and don't e-mail me I will not read it. Unless you want to exchange photos or get together then put that in the e-mail subject. If not then just go the f--- away please. I only posted this so maybe people will stop answering you and you will go away. Damn you have allot of free time have you been um laid anytime in the last several years I doubt it. If so can we please see a nice pick of you and your wife ??? Didn't think so.
To all the good cops out there keep your heads up. Some of us know the pressure you are under to bring that revenue in. Maybe this guy would prefer we all pay $25 at every toll. Man he would write another book about that.

I call them as they are not as I see them......
