Default need paid in ohio

i have worked for a month and a half for a private contractor in ohio painting houses. He has only paid me 100 dollars and owes me 1500.00 he keeps telling me when the job is done he will pay me well when we get almost done he sends me to a different job and never pays me for the work i have done. i am going to loss my apartment and cant pay my bills i tell him this and he keeps saying well they cant kick you out for 30 days. what can i do to get my money from him and who can i contact to get my money???

You can file a complaint for unpaid wages with the state Department of Labor.

Smile my 2 cents worth

See if you can file a mechanic's lien against owners of those homes that you'd painted. Also, check with Ohio Attorney General web site. They usually get action.
