Who pays for the home inspection in us?

You, the homebuyer, pay for the inspection. FHA, however, will allow up to $300 of the cost of the inspection as part of the downpayment requirement.

Usually the buyer pays for the home inspection, but in some states the parties negotiate this fee and some sellers hire home inspectors to provide reports on the home to prospective buyers. Typically, it is the buyer's fee, but it can be negotiated.
