Who do I contact in my neighborhood or surrounding areas for assistance in finding affordable housing in New York State?

There are more than 200 neighborhood and rural preservation companies located throughout New York State which are funded by the Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR). These community-based, not-for-profit organizations provide a wide range of housing services. They are a good source of information on affordable housing opportunities. To find the preservation company that serves your area, you can contact the DHCR Regional Office nearest you.

Another resource is Governor Pataki's web-based Affordable Housing Directory (AHD). Through the AHD, you will be able to do a customized search by city, county or zip code for the affordable housing options available to you.
Please contact me again if I can help in any way.
Yours truly,
Todd
