Default Help

I'm not married, but I'm 31 week pregnat and my ex boyfriend doesn't want to help me. Do I have the possibility to have a child sopport here in utah?

Yes but you will need to file to establish paternity after the child is born. If he does not admit paternity, you would get a court ordered blood test to prove paternity if it is challenged, then from there request establishment of support and make custody arrangements.

Question Question!!!

My ex boyfriend abused me on pushed me several times while I was 6 month pregnant. I have reported this to the police deparmen but I didn't recieve any answere from them, how is able to help me the laws of Utah?

Make a police report. Get a medical exam to make sure you and the baby are ok. You should consider filing for a restraining order against your boyfriend if he is going to be violent toward you. The police should be able to direct you to where to file that. All that being said, it may be good if you can move somewhere else less stressful for the duration of your pregnancy to where your boyfriend cannot bother you. Stress can cause complications for you and the baby,as I am sure the doctor will say.
