i work for a company in New jersey with less than 50 employees.
does anyone know my rights so when i speak to my employer i at least know my rights and don't get taken advantage of!!! |

Unpaid leaves are available to eligible employees working for covered employers through the federal Family Medical Leave and the NJ equivalent. Unfortunately, both laws define covered employers as having 50 or more employees. I am not aware of any other way to obtain a leave, unless the pregnant women are getting time off than women who are not pregnant and men.
