Default Workman comp appt North Carolina

In NC can your employer make you schedule your workman comp appointments after work hours? I have tried to no avail because the WC Dr has nothing open after my work hours for several months, now my employer is telling me I have to use my own time for appointment

If you are asking if the employer is required to pay for doctor visits, the answer is generally know, unless there is something specific in your state law saying otherwise. Labor law generally is restricted to payment based on hours actually worked.

So the issue is not when you schedule the visits but if you can make the employer pay for them (answer is no).

So if I can't get an appointment except during my scheduled shift, they can make me use my own paid time to cover?

    Yup.......
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.

This is true in every state except one, and that state is not your state.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.
