    Post death in family

    on march 20, my mother in law pass away. i left work early because my husband call said it was time. i walk in to the room where my son work at same company and told him it was time ,his boss give him a week off and told him to called if he need more. and my boss denied me to have time off to bury her. but she gave other person in the same department I'am in a emergence vacation but denied my i found she denied my was because my supervisor and other person was go on vacation, so she denied my i work in state of nevada is there law out saying that a company has to give you time off to bury a love one at the time she gave the other person the time we had a person on leave of absent one go on vacation

    Default Bereavement Leave

    Unfortunately, there is no law that a company has to provide you time off for bereavement leave.

    who can i talk to to get a bill going so other people in this usa state wont have to go thougth what i did

    Default Initiating Legislative Action

    I suppose you can talk to your local state representative. You can probably learn who that is by calling the state legislature.

    No, there is not. However, ASU may have its own policy.
