    Default Chapter 13 Bankruptcy - Steps to Discharge Florida

    Hello,

    I just paid off my chapter 13. The case was "closed" as of April 1st. I received the Notice of Completion last Friday and did the credit counseling course that night.

    I think the only thing left is for the court to stamp the papers now that I am discharged. Is that correct? If so, how long do they usually take to do that?

    It depends on the court. You can check with the court clerk where you filed the
    bankruptcy.
