Sexual Harrasment? Texas

My boss's sales guy calls me his "sexertariat" and always has inuendo's about sex. A good example is when he talks to his wife on the phone, he tells her that I won't go out with him or roll in the hay with him. I am getting really tired of it. My boss is his best friend, so nothing will come of it if I complain to him. What can i DO?

We have fewer than 20 employees. It is owned by the boss. There are 2 females in the whole group and the other is the bosses wife. She only comes by to hand out payroll so you might say I do the rest!

I have discouraged the talk, but that doesn't help.

All I can suggest then, is that you discuss it with an attorney in your state, just in case there are any local or municipal statutes that may apply. Not likely, in Texas, but not impossible either.

The OP can discuss. She can "charge" him, internally, with being a jerk. That is not a violation of any law. There are no federal or state "charges" or complaints that can be brought, because both jursidictions require at least 15 employees for such actions to be illegal.

The poster you responded to, Patty, was a spammer. A rather skillful spammer in that he actually answered the question without cutting and pasting from elsewhere in the thread, but a spammer nonetheless. So he's gone.
