    Default Guardianship of Incarcerated Person New Jersey

    I am having trouble finding any information or prior cases relating to this. I am trying to find out the following:

    If an incompetent individual is arrested and has medical conditions to be attended to, do the individuals who have guardianship over that person keep their guardianship when it comes to be involved in medical treatment? The guardianship they have is both physical and property.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Possibly. There are some issues pertaining to the individual that can stop some of
    a guardian's rights. Your best bet is to talk to an attorney in N.J.
