Default "Quitting a job without good cause" South Carolina

What does constitute a good cause to quit a job in legal terms?

I’m sorry to break this to you,
if you live in a state where you are considered employed ' at will '... In legal terms…
And I believe SC is one..

    There are none…

Are you asking "how can I quit in a way that still qualifies me for unemployment"?

Well, let's see, you could smash the boss' car windows with a baseball bat. That would get you fired. That would also get you NO unemployment benefits.

OP doesn't want to get fired - wants a "good cause" to quit & get unemployment ins.

There needs to be a mitigating factor. If you have to ask the online community...one doesn't exist!
Not everything in America is actionable in a court of law. Please remember that attorneys are in business for profit, and they get paid regardless of whether or not you win or lose.

How about, do not quit, but do start actively looking for another job? If fired in response to looking for another job, that is good cause as far as UI is concerned.
