Default going back to work

A very general question - I live in Ontario Canada and have been on Maternity leave for ten months now (we get a year for maternity leave) I'm due to go back to work in mid April but got an opportunity for a new job with better pay and better hours. Do I have any obligations to my old job other than notice?? They are expecting me back, I was going to give them 3 weeks notice-is this enough?

I'm sure it will be. However, because I am not an expert on employment law in Ontario, I encourage you to contact the Ministry of Labour. The website may be found at: http://www.gov.on.ca/LAB/english/es/.../fs_hours.html
